Vice President of Strategy and Chief of Staff
Michael leads business strategy, corporate development, strategic alliances, and cross-organizational execution for Aprimo. Michael brings 15 years of developing and driving business strategy for digital and marketing technology providers to Aprimo. He is responsible for Aprimo’s strategic design and advancement across product, go to market, services, operations, and business transformation initiatives.
Michael has been part of the Aprimo team since 2012, and previously led strategy and corporate development for Teradata Marketing Applications. He has also held leadership roles in product management and marketing at companies including Acxiom, Michael Smith & Associates, and Sonus Marketing. Immediately prior to joining Aprimo, Michael led Acxiom’s mid-market line of business for customer data management, analytics, and multi-channel campaign management.
Michael has presented at industry events held by the Association of National Advertisers, Gartner, the Direct Marketing Association, and others, and has appeared in publications such as Forbes, InformationWeek, Direct Marketing News, and Mediapost.
He has an MBA in Information Systems from Auburn University, a BBA Cum Laude from Belmont University, and has taught technology management at Trevecca Nazarene University.

Leonardo is an expert in marketing technology with over 20 years of experience in the areas of machine learning, real-time personalization, marketing automation, and marketing analytics.
In his current capacity as Sr Director of Product Management at Salesforce Leonardo is leading strategic engagements with SI and ISV partners to complement and extend the capabilities of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a focus on Marketing Operations, Digital Asset Management and Marketing Analytics.
Prior to joining Salesforce he was VP of Product Management at Thunderhead where he pioneered an innovative customer journey analytics application, and before that he was Director of Product Management at Pegasystems where he led the delivery of Next-Best-Action Marketing, a groundbreaking solution for omni-channel 1-to-1 marketing.
Earlier in his career Leonardo held consulting positions at various multinational organizations, advising clients around the globe on predictive modeling, business intelligence and decisioning. He holds a Ph.D. in Computing Science from the University of Aberdeen and a BSc. in Information Science from the University of Turin.
