Vice President of Strategy and Chief of Staff
Michael Lummus, Vice President of Strategy and Chief of Staff, leads business strategy, corporate development, strategic alliances, and cross-organizational execution for Aprimo. Michael brings 15 years of developing and driving business strategy for digital and marketing technology providers to Aprimo. He is responsible for Aprimo’s strategic design and advancement across product, go to market, services, operations, and business transformation initiatives.
Lummus has been part of the Aprimo team since 2012, and previously led strategy and corporate development for Teradata Marketing Applications, including the initiative to reestablish Aprimo as an independent company in 2016. He has held leadership roles in strategy, product management, and marketing at companies including Acxiom, Michael Smith & Associates, and Sonus Marketing. Immediately prior to joining Aprimo, Michael led Acxiom’s mid-market line of business for customer data management, analytics, and campaign management.
Michael has presented at industry events held by the Association of National Advertisers, Gartner, the Direct Marketing Association, and others, and has appeared in publications such as Forbes, InformationWeek, Direct Marketing News, and Mediapost.
He has an MBA in Information Systems from Auburn University, a BBA Cum Laude from Belmont University, and has taught technology management at Trevecca Nazarene University.
