About the Opportunity:

As Digital Copywriter, you play a critical role in supporting the voice and brand of Aprimo across multiple channels and types of marketing materials and play a critical role in the development of Aprimo’s overall brand voice and customer experience.

This writer works within the Marketing Department and reports to the Creative Director; collaborating closely with Marketing management, Product Marketing, and Graphic Designers.

Key Writing Responsibilities:

This is a highly collaborative role that requires the understanding of our product offering and the B2B user experience while meeting a variety of project objectives including:

  • Understand and support brand, tone, and voice
  • Communicate complex information in a human and friendly way.
  • Understand web development-related issues such as SEO, usability and navigation.
  • Understand design thinking and user experience.
  • Take an approach to content that starts with customer.
  • Analyze web copy and competitors’ activity to maintain an edge.
  • Research and develop content for our sector based audience, such as, Financial Services, Retail, CPG, and Life Sciences.
  • Write a wide variety of materials including: Email campaigns, Product/service promotional literature, Website content, Press releases, Blogs, White Papers, Case Studies, eBooks, Video Scripts, Etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communication or a concentration in writing
  • 4+ years of experience writing compelling b2b content and a strong foundation in technology (software a plus)
  • Technical b2b marketing writing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and market needs and translate into effective messaging for business audiences
  • Multi-tasker – ability to effectively work on several projects at once
  • Collaborative, creative self-starter
  • Practical knowledge of marketing best practices and industry trends as it relates to lead generation, digital conversion, social media and SEO
