Day 1 - Tuesday, June 4th

Time Session
9:00 am – 9:30 am Registration and Breakfast
9:30 am – 9:45 am Welcome

John Stammen, CEO, Aprimo

9:45 am - 10:45 am Keynote Presentation: Evolve Marketing to Focus on What Matters: Customer Experiences

Guest Speaker: Rusty Warner, Principal Analyst, Forrester

Digital transformation is changing the way we do business--for the better! In his keynote address, Forrester's Rusty Warner will provide an overview of the key tenets of a digital transformation, and how marketing and customer experience teams are now released to do things they actually want--deliver engaging omnichannel brand experiences. He'll discuss ways to future-proof both your organization and MarTech stack, including MRM, DAM, and Marketing Performance, so your organization can evolve rather than play catch up.
11:00 am – 11:30 am Breaking through: Evolving Content, Operations and Performance

Ed Breault, VP of Marketing, Aprimo

A new experience battlefront has emerged, forcing organizations and brands to rethink usage of content, operating model designs and business performance. In this session we will unpack examples of how expectations are changing between companies, brands and customers. Then as professionals what we can do to break through the micro and macro barriers allowing our companies and brands to evolve-forward to meet this ever-changing dynamic.
11:30 am – 12:15 pm Intelligent, Adaptive Content: Must-Have Content Capabilities for an Omnichannel, Personalized World

Noz Urbina, CEO & Founder, Urbina Consulting

Market demands have outpaced enterprises. It has never been easier to research suppliers and potential new relationships. Content is the cornerstone of modern business because it represents our brand when we're not there, it serves as the collective memory of our staff, and it extends our reach across the globe. However, the proliferation of new channels, paired with constantly rising expectations of convenience, speed, and personalisation on every touch-point is taxing even the largest budgets and enterprises in the world. The answer is a new approach to how we plan, create, manage, govern, and deliver our content. We need to evolve beyond traditional campaign- or channel-based deliverables to intelligent, single-source, omnichannel content. By staring down the modern reality and taking on the new required capabilities, it becomes feasible and economically viable to create content that can be personalised and contextualised on any device, take full advantage of artificial intelligence, and be localised to meet the varied needs of our global customers.

Why is this combination important? Where do you start? What key things should you do to capture the potential?

This session will explore how marketing organizations can take a more holistic view of their combined DAM + Workflow capabilities. It will also discuss ideas on how a clever combo of DAM + Workflow can improve platform adoption, asset compliance and operational productivity.

In this workshop we will evaluate what gaps, strategies, processes, and technologies you have in place for each phase of the Content Lifecycle and walk away with a road map to ensure a steady state of content flow, with flexible and responsive processes that lead to low operational risk and great brand experience.
4:15 pm – 4:45 pm What to do on Monday?

Can the GDPR Save Customer Experience Management (From Itself)

Today we’re told that customer experience management (CXM) is an inescapable imperative, the primary determinant of organizational success or failure, and the sole means of sustainable competitive advantage. For years, executives have named CXM a top priority, vendors have created amazing CXM solutions, and companies have invested time, money and resources. And yet, every major global consumer survey reconfirms that CXM has failed. Add to this complexity, the fact that the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is seen by many marketers as the coming “datapocalypse”. How will digital marketers survive? Fear not, because in this session Dr. Tim Walters, principal strategist and privacy lead at The Content Advisory, will present two key ways brands can completely reorient their CXM processes, technologies, and strategies. Additionally, Dr. Walters will illustrate actionable ways that brands can actually leverage the GDPR to address this crippling “trust deficit” among consumers.

Master Class

Comprising 3 unique sessions, this Master Class laid out Aprimo’s vision for how leading organizations must evolve how they look at their marketing efforts, content, and performance. We covered how viewing the entire content lifecycle, from ideation to customer experience, holistically can drive increasing value to their organization.

Day 0 - Monday, June 3rd
Time Session
1:00pm – 2:30pm Master Class: Operations

Lorna Loney, VP of Operations Solutions, Aprimo

51% of digital marketers and ecommerce professionals identified non-integrated technology platforms as one of the top three obstacles to executing consistently integrated omnichannel marketing. According to a recent survey, another interesting insight is that the average marketer spends around a third of their time on repetitive, non value add tasks, such as sending emails to remind people of deadlines and deliverables, distributing updated documents, searching for poorly tagged content and collecting, organizing, and analyzing marketing data from a myriad of different sources.

With all this inefficiency is it any surprise that 59% of CMO’s believe they lack the resources required for modern marketing. In our Operations Masterclass we will look at how fully integrated platforms will free up time and energy, allowing your resources to focus more on delivering excellent cross channel customer experiences. With the right tools in place eliminating significant amounts of the repetitive non value add tasks, does your CMO really need more resources?
2:45pm – 4:15pm Master Class: Content

Alec Wadey, Senior Product Advocate, Aprimo

While marketers and ecommerce professionals should be focused on integrating their technology platforms to deliver better integrated omnichannel experiences, research also shows that upwards of 70% of content that marketers create never actually gets used and the percentage of content that is never reused is staggering and costly.

As you reduce the internal friction surrounding creating content, you can also solve for managing the entire content lifecycle from content ideation, creation, orchestration, distribution and archive. This is increasingly important as the amount of content you are producing is expected to double over the next 24 months and the number of channels marketers will have to interact with increases at an exponential rate, all while budgets and resources grow at less than 3% each year.

In our Content Masterclass we will look at how the seamless flow of data and workflow from the operations side makes orchestrating and using content even easier. How you can free up resources, improve content discoverability, reduce risk associated with using incorrect or out of date content and ultimately improve the ROI for your content.
4:30pm – 5:30pm Master Class: Performance

Matthew Clarke, Product Evangelist, Aprimo

Managing the Operations and Content process of your business is critical to improve the marketer's and customer's experience. But streamlining your commercial planning processes and understanding how your marketing actually performed is one of the most effective ways to drive value to your business.

Today, only 1 in 4 marketers are confident they can actually quantify ROI (according to a 2018 Nielsen Company report) while at the same time 79% of CMOs say they are going to increase their investments in technology, analytics, and attribution. With the right technology you can prove you can handle increased content and channel demands, streamline your processes, and reduce cycle times. But only when you can tie your marketing efforts and content output to enterprise strategies, budgets and results will you finally understand where you should focus your resources next.

This session will help you understand how on a single platform, you can tie all your key performance indicators together, increase transparency, improve accountability, and drive higher results. When this all comes together, you can drive your content intelligence and improve value to your business.
