Courses

Aprimo Marketers Bootcamp

Duration: 2.5 days

This bootcamp is wholly focused on the marketer’s understanding of the functional use of the Plan & Spend and Marketing Productivity products within the Aprimo platform. It begins with an overview into the platform and hierarchy of the overall tool and then delves into a marketer’s daily usage of the product. Day 1 is focused on general system use and Plan & Spend functionality, while Day 2 and Day 3 are largely focused on Marketing Productivity. Questions like “How do I put a new marketing activity into Aprimo and then monitor it?,” “What is the marketer’s role and what is his/her touch points within the tool?” and “How does a marketer use this tool to their advantage?” are examined. System Administrator Bootcamp

Duration: 2 days

This bootcamp is wholly focused on the administrator of the Plan & Spend and/or Marketing Productivity products within Aprimo. The attendee will learn how to create data fields, data objects, business rules, as well as define user records and security rights. They will also learn how to build a basic workflow in the tool as well as learn how to create and activate an annual marketing budget. Aprimo Campaign Bootcamp

Duration: 2 days

This bootcamp covers the Aprimo campaign product, for the novice. The course begins with the building of a database connection to the Aprimo tool, and then moves to creation of custom attributes. Then customer segmentation is introduced, addressing deduping & merging of segments, as well as splitting of segments into cells. You should attend this course if you are responsible for building and maintaining your customer database to connection or responsible for segmenting your customers for email or direct mail campaigns. Hands on practice will be given in the form of workbooks. Questions like “How do I connect my current customer database to Aprimo and see my universe?”, “How do I send one segment cell to a file for one vendor and another segment cell to another file for another vendor?”, and “How do I query based on transactional data?” are examined. Aprimo Advanced Plan & Spend Bootcamp

Duration: 2 days

This bootcamp is focused on the advanced concepts of the Plan + Spend products within the Aprimo platform. You should attend this course if you are responsible for building and maintaining the Aprimo financial products. The course begins with an overview of the spend modules and then delves into management and configuration. Case studies are used to reinforce key concepts and illustrate solutions for a variety of business requirements. Questions like “How do I perform a fiscal year close-out?,” “How do I configure financial hierarchies that provide spend visibility across different Finance Groups?” and “How do I design approval structures that utilize multiple system parameters?” are examined. Advanced Production Management Bootcamp

Duration: 3 days

This bootcamp covers advanced features of the Marketing Productivity product -- construction of complex workflows. You should attend this course if you are responsible for building and maintaining the Workflow Manager product. Case studies are used to reinforce key concepts and illustrate solutions for a variety of business requirements. Questions like “How do I automate project work through actions?,” “How do I configure ports and paths to control key decision points?” and “How do I manage workflows in production?” are examined.
