The resulting marketing materials are managed and organized in the Aprimo Professional digital asset library. When a sales representative needs to find a piece of collateral for a specific prospect, they can access this directly through the Aprimo tab and attach it to their email from within salesforce.com.

AUTOMATE MARKETING REQUESTS FROM SALES
Your sales and distribution partners using salesforce.com may want to initiate a request to marketing for an event, piece of collateral or prospect meeting.  A flexible, forms driven interface is available from within the Aprimo tab to make sure marketing gets the needed information and a formal request process is initiated.  Once the request is accepted, the requestor is notified via email and the marketing action is initiated from within Aprimo Professional. Denied requests include comments with the notification to sales so they can decide to modify their request or pursue other options.

MONITOR USAGE WITH REPORTING
You can track usage of digital assets and the activity request process directly within salesforce.com. Access the details of specific requests and view all requests to better understand what is being used, who is using it and whether requests are approved. Similarly, you can track who is downloading digital assets and which digital assets are most used. This is valuable information to both the sales and marketing teams and can help improve and align these organizations. Marketing can create more assets that align with sales needs. Activity requests can help drive staffing and the overall marketing plan.
